Do I really want to know?
Early detection – best treatment
The best treatment to avoid serious illness is to detect changes early, before they develop. Serious illnesses do not occur overnight but often take several years to develop.
If detected early (locally growing tumor), your chance of survival is in most cases 90% or higher. However, if a tumor is detected late, when it has spread, survival is significantly reduced. The majority of those affected would have survived the disease if it had been detected earlier.
Through a full-body MRI scan, heart examination or colonoscopy, signs of disease can be found early, which is often the best treatment for cancer and cardiovascular disease.
