Full body MRI, complete body scan with magnetic resonance imaging

Full-body MRI is Prevcare's most comprehensive magnetic resonance imaging examination. The examination scans 30 organs and body parts, from the brain down to the pelvis and hips.

The images are reviewed by radiology specialists. You will then receive a written radiological report and a medical review with Prevcare's specialist doctor.

The aim is to detect medical changes early. MRI can show signs of, for example, tumors, stroke, inflammation, vascular changes, enlarged lymph nodes, changes in abdominal organs, skeletal changes and other abnormalities.

MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves and does not involve ionizing radiation. The examination is therefore an option for those who want a broad, preventive examination of the body without a referral.

Why should you order Prevcares?
MRI whole body examination?

Direct insight into your health with advanced full-body scanning

Whole-body MRI can provide a broad medical picture of the body and show changes in organs, tissues, vessels and bones before they always cause clear symptoms. This makes the examination relevant for those who want to take preventive action.

Early detection, best treatment

In cases of serious illness, early detection can be of great importance. Whole-body MRI does not replace emergency care or all other examinations, but can provide important information about findings that need to be followed up.

Advanced examination technology without ionizing radiation

MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves. The examination does not involve ionizing radiation and is an established method for imaging organs and soft tissues.

Private MRI examination within 7 working days, without referral

You can book a private full-body MRI without a referral in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Jönköping, Umeå, Karlstad and Sundsvall.

Individual health report by specialist doctor within 7 working days

Your MRI images are first reviewed by a radiologist. You will then receive a written report and a discussion where the results are explained in a medical context.

Thorough review of your results with specialist doctors

After the examination, Prevcare's specialist doctor will review the report with you via phone or digital meeting, so that you understand what the results mean and what the next steps may be.

Have a better dialogue with your doctor

A clear report and medical review can help you have a better dialogue with healthcare if something needs to be followed up, investigated further, or checked over time.

Private MRI examination, referral if necessary

If the examination shows findings that need further investigation, Prevcare's doctor can help you with a referral to the right healthcare provider.

Private full body scan

Full body scan price

Full body MRI at Prevcare costs SEK 27,200. The price includes full body scan, radiological examination, written report, personal review with a specialist and referral if necessary.

The original price was: SEK 31.The current price is: SEK 27.

Who is full-body MRI aimed at?

Full-body MRI is suitable for those who want to examine their body preventively, especially if they have a hereditary predisposition to serious diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disease or stroke.

The examination may also be relevant if you want to get a broader medical picture of the body without first having to go through a referral. If you have clear symptoms from a specific area, a targeted MRI or other examination may sometimes be more appropriate.

How often should a full-body MRI be done?

How often a full-body scan is relevant depends on your age, hereditary risk factors, previous illnesses, lifestyle and what you want to examine.

For some, a full-body MRI is a one-off preventive check-up. For others, regular check-ups may be appropriate after individual medical assessment. Prevcare's doctors will help you understand if anything needs to be followed up.

Our social promise: we support the Swedish Cancer Society

Detecting disease earlier is an important part of our work. That is why Prevcare supports the Swedish Cancer Foundation and their work for research, knowledge and better treatment options.

Full-body MRI is not a guarantee that all diseases will be detected and does not replace emergency care, a doctor's visit or targeted diagnostics in case of clear symptoms. However, the examination can be a valuable tool for those who want to get a broader medical picture of the body.

Our daily work at Prevcare Clinic is about early detection and prevention of serious diseases – and through our donation to the Swedish Cancer Society, we also want to support research that makes future care even better.
