Order your survey

Order the examination you want on our website and choose the location where you want to undergo the examination. Our clinics are located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala, Jönköping, Umeå, Karlstad or Sundsvall. Contact us Please feel free to ask questions regarding our surveys.

Fill out your health form

Immediately after ordering, you will need to fill out a digital health form with relevant questions about the examination. The form will be sent to the email address you provided. When the completed health form has been returned to us, it will be reviewed by a doctor, who will send a referral for the examination.

Complete your survey

The weekday after we receive your completed health form, you call and book an appointment for the examination. You will also receive a summons to your digital mailbox in Kivra and an SMS reminder of the time, place and any preparations for your examination. If you need to reschedule your appointment, you have a direct number for fast service.

Get your results

Your results are first reviewed by a specialist, then Prevcare's doctor analyzes and compiles the results in your report. You will receive the results within 7 working days of your examination. A review with a specialist via telephone and computer is included in our examination packages. Referral to an appropriate healthcare provider for further care is included if necessary.

Can I undergo an examination without seeing a doctor?

Yes. Immediately after your order, you will be asked to fill out a digital form with questions regarding your health. Your answers will contain the information needed to complete the examination you have chosen.

Your health form is always reviewed by our specialist doctor and you will be contacted if further information is needed.

Are there any risks to being examined with a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan?

No, MRI is completely harmless and does not produce any radiation, unlike computed tomography (CT) and traditional X-rays. MRI technology takes pictures using magnetic fields and radio waves without any X-ray radiation, which makes it completely harmless. Therefore, you can have an MRI scan several times without any risk of radiation damage. MRI technology was awarded the 2003 Nobel Prize in Medicine.

What happens if you discover something during the examination?

The goal of our examinations is to detect diseases early and thereby significantly improve the chance of curing them. If we discover something serious during your examination, you will be contacted by a specialist doctor who will carefully review what has been found and send a referral to an appropriate healthcare provider for further processing.

When undergoing an examination, there is a small risk of false positive findings or “false alarms.” A scan cannot always determine whether a finding is dangerous or harmless, which means that further investigation is necessary to confirm the diagnosis.

What do Prevcare's examinations add if I have private health insurance?

Prevcare's examinations are intended to detect diseases even before you experience symptoms. MRI scans and other advanced examinations are not offered for preventive purposes by private health insurance companies or county councils.

However, health insurance is good to have if you get sick or if we at Prevcare discover something that needs further action.

At Prevcare you get access to an examination within 7 working days, whether it is for preventive purposes or to investigate specific symptoms. The cost of an examination at Prevcare is not covered by private health insurance.

How does it work when I pay by card or invoice?

You can pay by card or invoice. We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. When you pay by card, the payment is handled securely and reliably by the payment solution NETS. Contact us if you have any questions.

We use 3D Secure, a global security standard developed by Visa (Verified by Visa) and MasterCard (MasterCard SecureCode). This security solution enables identification of the cardholder when making card payments on the Internet.

Both private individuals and companies can also pay by invoice.

Can I purchase a survey for family, friends or employees?

Anyone over the age of 18 can order and complete a survey with us. Individuals and companies can purchase surveys for family, friends and employees.

The person who is going to undergo the examination registers their contact details and fills out their health form before booking the examination. Only the person who has undergone the examination can see their results and recommendations as these are confidential.

How do I book my examination after ordering?

After your order and when you have filled out and sent your health form to us, you will be able to call and book the examination at a time that suits you the next day. If you have any questions or need to reschedule, you have a direct number you can call for fast service.
