Do you have symptoms of recurring headaches or other neurological symptoms? Do you have symptoms in the abdomen, such as pain, swelling or suspicious changes in the abdominal organs? Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdomen involves examining the liver, gallbladder/biliary tract, pancreas, spleen, adrenal glands, kidneys and lymph nodes in the abdomen. With an MRI abdomen examination, you can quickly and safely detect tumors, inflammation, cysts, fatty liver or other diseases.

Prostate cancer is Sweden's most common form of cancer and the cause of the most deaths among men from cancer. The disease mainly affects older men – about half are 70 years old and a few are 40 years old at diagnosis, according to the Swedish Cancer Foundation. MRI examination of the prostate gland provides a very detailed image of the gland's shape, size and signal consistency, which can clarify whether there is benign inflammation (prostatitis), benign prostatic hyperplasia or malignant tumor. Heart attacks and strokes currently account for approximately 31% of all deaths. With a heart examination (ECG, ultrasound, blood analysis), you can detect atrial fibrillation, heart attacks, rhythm disorders, heart failure, valve disease, elevated blood fats that indicate an increased risk of developing serious cardiovascular disease.

Colorectal cancer is the third most common form of cancer in Sweden.
Do you have an increased hereditary predisposition to colon cancer or symptoms from the intestine such as blood in the stool, diarrhea, cramping pain or a feeling of fullness? In many cases, it can be due to harmless causes such as IBS, intestinal pouches/diverticula or hemorrhoids, but if you are over 50 years old, it can also be due to colon cancer. Colonoscopy can diagnose polyps, tumors, intestinal pouches/diverticula or inflammation of the intestine at an early stage. During the examination, polyps can be removed painlessly, which can be precursors to cancer. This can prevent colon cancer from occurring in the future.
